Re. Ledsham Road proposed development – which I understand you and the local council are opposed to. Can you advise what we can do to stop this unecessary and unwanted development. I would like to register and show my support in stopping this development. We not only as a community but as a country need to keep this and many other green fields. Much wanted and needed farms are being destroyed and farmers are being put out of business and thrown out of their homes by developments such as this. We need to keep the farming industry in the UK, and to support our farmers. We need to be able to feed our growing population with UK/locally grown produce not foreign imports and to support our farmers and keep the cost of living down. There are plenty of empty houses which are an eyesore and become a problem for vandalism in the local area that could be refurbished which would be more cost effective and would provide economic and affordable homes and redevelop these run down areas.
